The Hurricane Fork Up Riser is designed to suit standard front forks/ shocks with regular drop-outs.It will work with bike racks where there are front fork clearance issues. An example of this is bikes with disc brake callipers coming in contact with the bike rack. Furthermore, it provides for easier installation of your bike onto the rack and better clearance between bikes.
The Fork Up Riser installs easily on your fork before loading it onto your rack.Once installed on the fork, just lift your bike up onto the rack and the Fork-Up fits easily into your rack with ample clearance for disc brakes and low hanging fork legs.
Do you need to stagger the clearance of your bike rack? The Fork Up Riser raises your fork approximately 3 inches above your rack to raise the handlebars higher than the bike next to it. Furthermore, the Riser can be rotated 180 degrees to provide for additional fore-aft clearance with other bikes on the rack. This allows you to easily adjust the height and position of the bike on the rack.
